Microneedling

Treatment Description

Microneedling is a safe, non-surgical skin treatment that helps improve the look and feel of your skin. At Derma Epsilon, we use a special device with tiny, fine needles to gently create micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. This encourages your body to produce more collagen and elastin—two natural proteins that make your skin smoother, firmer, and younger-looking.

Microneedling is ideal for reducing fine lines, acne scars, large pores, uneven skin tone, and stretch marks.

What to Expect – Before & After

Before the Procedure:

Before your microneedling session, you’ll meet with Dr. Sofia for a personal consultation. She will review your skin concerns and medical history to make sure microneedling is right for you. You don’t need to do much preparation—just avoid direct sun exposure, alcohol, or using strong skincare products (like retinol or acids) for at least 24 hours before treatment.

After the Procedure:

The session takes about 30–60 minutes, depending on the area treated. Right after, your skin may look red—like a mild sunburn—and feel a little warm or sensitive. This is normal and usually goes away in a day or two. We’ll give you simple aftercare steps, like using gentle moisturizers and staying out of the sun. Within a few days, your skin will look brighter, and full results will appear in a few weeks.
